Therapy
I work with adults across North Carolina through secure, online sessions. Therapy with me isn’t about perfection or performance — it’s about getting real, slowing down, and untangling the stuff that’s been keeping you stuck.
Below are some of the areas I specialize in and how I can help:

Therapy that’s honest, human, and actually helpful
Religious Trauma + Deconstruction
Leaving a belief system or healing from spiritual abuse can shake everything you thought you knew about yourself — your worth, your identity, even what “good” means.
In our work together, we’ll explore how those early messages shaped the way you see yourself today, and start separating your truth from the fear, guilt, and shame that never belonged to you in the first place.
Inner Child + Reparenting Work
You didn’t just “grow out of” your childhood. The parts of you that learned to stay quiet, please others, or keep it all together are still doing their best to protect you — even if their methods don’t work so well anymore.
Through gentle exploration, we’ll get to know those younger parts of you and begin the process of reparenting — offering the care, safety, and validation you might not have received when you needed it most.
If your brain feels like a browser with 47 tabs open (and one playing music you can’t find), you’re not alone. ADHD in women often hides under perfectionism, people-pleasing, or exhaustion.
We’ll work on understanding your brain’s wiring, letting go of shame, and creating systems that actually fit your life — not the other way around.
Women with ADHD
Childhood + Complex Trauma
When you’ve spent years in survival mode, slowing down can feel impossible. Together, we’ll work on building safety in your body, identifying triggers, and untangling the old patterns that keep pulling you back into the past.
This is slow, gentle work — not about “fixing” you, but about helping you feel more grounded, connected, and in control of your own story.
Sometimes you can’t point to a single big trauma — just that quiet sense of “something’s missing.” Maybe you feel disconnected from yourself, burnt out, or unsure what’s next.
Therapy can help you come back home to yourself — to the parts that have been waiting for you to notice them.
Feeling Stuck or Lost
Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of clients do you work with?
I work with adults who are ready to understand themselves on a deeper level — often people navigating religious trauma, inner child work, anxiety, self-worth struggles, or life transitions. Many of my clients describe feeling “stuck” in old patterns or beliefs, and together we work toward healing, growth, and reconnection with who they truly are.
Do you take insurance?
Yes — I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and United Healthcare.
If you’re unsure about your coverage or copay, I always recommend calling your insurance provider before our first session to confirm your mental health benefits and telehealth coverage.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
I’m a fully virtual practice, which means we can meet from anywhere in North Carolina. All sessions take place online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform which you can join from your phone, tablet, or computer.
How do I pay for sessions?
If you’re paying privately, I accept all major credit, debit, and HSA/FSA cards through a secure client portal. Payments are processed automatically at the time of your session so there’s nothing you need to remember afterward.
What’s your rate?
My self-pay rate is $150 per 55-minute session.
If you have insurance with BCBS, Aetna, or United Healthcare, I will be in network wiht them soon!
What’s your cancellation policy?
Life happens — I get it. You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment with no fee.
If you cancel within 24 hours or miss your session, the full session fee will be charged. This helps keep scheduling fair and consistent for all clients.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is mostly about getting to know you — your story, what’s been feeling heavy or confusing, and what you hope to get out of therapy.
There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. Think of it as a conversation, not an interview. We’ll also go over logistics, answer any questions, and see if it feels like a good fit to work together.
How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and consistency. Over time, we might move to every other week depending on your goals and progress. You’ll always have a say in what pace feels right for you.
How long will I need to be in therapy?
There’s no set timeline — therapy looks different for everyone. Some people come for a few months to work through something specific, while others stay longer for ongoing support and deeper healing.
We’ll check in regularly about how things are feeling and what’s working best for you.
What’s your therapy style?
My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I often integrate inner child work, parts work (IFS-inspired), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), always at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.
My goal is to create a space that feels real and judgment-free — a place where you can explore who you are beneath the old wounds and expectations.
Is therapy confidential?
Absolutely. Everything we talk about stays between us, except in rare legal situations where I’m required to break confidentiality (like if someone is in immediate danger).
We’ll go over all the details in your intake paperwork so you know exactly what to expect.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can request an appointment directly through my online scheduling link (or send me a quick message through the contact form). Once we confirm your time, you’ll receive a secure client portal invitation where you can complete paperwork, access session links, and manage appointments.
Still have questions?
That’s completely okay. Starting therapy is a big step, and it’s normal to want to know what you’re stepping into. If you’re curious about working together or just want to see if we’d be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation.
It’s a low-pressure chance to ask questions, get a feel for my approach, and see if therapy with me feels right for you.
You can schedule your consultation here.
You don’t have to figure everything out before reaching out. We’ll take it one step at a time, together.
